Living in beautiful, southwest Virginia, also known as the "land between lakes," has always inspired Jane. From her studio, she enjoys a panoramic view of the Blue Ridge mountains. She is intrigued by the ever-changing sky, moving water, and the nature of trees.

 

Jane's style of painting demands time and discipline as she layers thick, juicy oil paint to capture the feeling of time, space, light, and movement. Her landscapes are often drenched in early morning or late afternoon light. Jane takes pride in using the best quality canvas, paints, and varnishes.
